ruby install fail using brew, error C compiler can not create excutables

Estoy intentando instalar algo usando brew, pero me sale el siguiente error, c compiler is unable to create an executable. He instalado Xcode y las herramientas de línea de comandos.

Actualización:

Pude solucionarlo usando la instalación manual del compilador CLANG usando ports. Brew seguía pidiendo el compilador para compilar el código, pero ports me dejaba instalar el paquete del compilador.
