¿Funcionará mi escáner Canon CanoScan 500F con Lion?

Estoy recibiendo muchos errores de TWAINBridge en la consola y Image Capture no escanea documentos como lo hacía la semana pasada (en 10.6.8 Snow Leopard).

He comprobado el sitio de canon - y el los últimos controladores son sólo para 10.6 - no se menciona este escáner en el Lista de dispositivos Canon que funcionan con Lion .

He reiniciado dos veces, he comprobado los cables. Espero que alguien pueda señalar algo que pueda haber pasado por alto y que pueda hacer que las cosas funcionen para mí.

Si no es así, me voy al mercado de segunda mano con algunos macs Core Duo y todo mi software de rosetta.
