¿Cambiar el tamaño del texto de la ventana del Finder a través de AppleScript o shell?

Me gustaría crear accesos directos para "hacer zoom" en el tamaño del texto de la ventana del Finder.

Lo he probado en AppleScript

 tell application "Finder"
    if text size of list view options of front window = 10 then
        set text size of list view options of front window to 16
    else
        set text size of list view options of front window to 10
    end if
end tell

que funciona pero no puedo ver el cambio hasta que "refresco" la ventana cerrándola y volviéndola a abrir.

Intenté agregar

 update items of front window

pero esto no hace nada.

¿Alguna forma de hacer esto elegantemente?

Estoy en El Capitán.
