Python Virtualenv está roto desde la actualización a OS X Mountain Lion

Desde la actualización a Mountain Lion, al ejecutar el comando "virtualenv env", obtengo:

Debe descargar el Command Line Tools para Mountain Lion.

Xcode instalado:

Vaya a las preferencias en Xcode (Xcode -> Preferencias), seleccione la pestaña "Descargas" y elija instalar Command Line Tools

Xcode no está instalado:

Apple ha publicado un paquete de herramientas de línea de comandos compatible con Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8.*). Página de descargas para desarrolladores de Apple . Para ello necesitarás una cuenta de desarrollador gratuita.

Necesitas instalar Xcode 4.4 (desde la tienda de aplicaciones) y luego, dentro de xcode abre Xcode > Preferences (o pulse Cmd + , ) y, a continuación, abra el downloads e instale el Command Line Tools .

Para mí, después de instalar las herramientas de línea de comandos, easy_install está en /usr/bin no /usr/local/bin . Necesitaba quitar easy_install de /usr/local/bin :

$ sudo rm /usr/local/bin/easy_install*

que elimina (en mi caso) easy_install , easy_install-2.6 y easy_install-2.7

Tuve un problema similar tratando de seguir estas instrucciones, lo que se solucionó:

  • He quitado /usr/bin/easy_install (no sé si es necesario)
  • INSTALADO VERTUALENV utilizando el EASY_INSTALL que fue instalado por brew en /usr/local

¡Y todo bien!
