Estaba usando mi portátil (MacBook Pro de 13 pulgadas, mediados de 2010, MacOS Sierra 10.12.3) normalmente durante las clases. Antes del sobrecalentamiento y apagado inicial, mientras llevaba el portátil con la tapa abierta, la pantalla del portátil se quedó en blanco, a oscuras sin nada en la pantalla, pero el portátil seguía encendido. Simplemente realicé un apagado forzado, encogiéndome de hombros como un problema aleatorio.
Un rato después, tras cerrar el portátil, ponerlo en reposo y guardarlo en una bolsa, me di cuenta de que el portátil se estaba sobrecalentando gravemente y emitiendo pitidos. Thunderbolt Bus: Justo antes y después de este sobrecalentamiento, el portátil también se ralentizaba de forma poco natural, incluso más lento que las ralentizaciones habituales que he visto. La creación de nuevas pestañas, el lanzamiento de programas, todo lleva a la "bola de playa de la muerte" por un tiempo.
